Bienvenidos a Latin Link! 2005 Fall Semester marks the beginning to form new friendships, to learn from other cultures and to come to appreciate ones own Latino background. As the year progresses I hope that all of you continue participating in many events Latin Link has to offer. Latinos siempre unidos!
We will be holding a hiking trip to the Cascades on October 1 accompanied by the gentleman of Pritchard Hall. Come out and take a break from the textbooks to see the beauty of nature! We will be carpooling from Owens parking lot 11am sharp. JOIN US!
Brief History
Latin Link was founded on the Virginia Tech campus in the Spring of 2001
by a small group of students who felt that their peoples cultures and interests were being
under represented in the VT community. So with this thought in mind they formed Latin Link,
an organization that is here to provide the Latino community here at Tech with a place to meet
other Latinos, get involved in community service and share their unique culture with
the rest of the VT community.
